Milena Warns

Milena Warns is a fundraiser, producer, and community builder. She is a producer for Without Exception Films. In recognition of her work, in 2024 she was selected to participate in the NFL Films Women in Sports Experienceship. Prior to moving into filmmaking, Milena spent over 20 years working in non-profit advocacy and impact work. A dedicated community builder, she launched her first initiative in 1999, Maggies, the first and longest operating women’s leadership organization at Texas A&M University. She has held development roles at organizations like the American Cancer Society, Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA, and Campbell Hall, where she oversaw fundraising events, securing over $10 million from individual donors, community foundations, and corporations. As a keynote speaker and panelist, Milena covers topics ranging from systemic gender issues, to filmmaking, storytelling, and fundraising.
